Brief history of the company

Comedy Space was founded in 2016 as Comedy Hub Houston by Eddy Aviles as a comedy production company that would provide a positive space of growth and support for local comedians in Houston. Janan Araujo-Siam joined soon after and together, they ran successful shows, bringing talent such as Ronny Chieng, Nimesh Patel, River Butcher, and Maria Bamford to unique Houston stages with local comedian support acts. By 2022, they morphed the idea into a need for a platform that brings together comedians, fans, and industry professionals. Comedy Hub Houston was rebranded as Comedy Space. Since then, we have launched this platform that allows audiences to easily find comedians they enjoy and where to see them.

At Comedy Space, we believe in integrity, transparency, and respect for all. We are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive community for comedians of all backgrounds, and to providing our customers with the best possible experience.
